BIO

Toronto-based brothers Paul and Mike Welsman grew up in a family that was immersed in music from day one. Years of piano and theory studies gave way to jamming, performing and writing music. This led to the creation of the Welsman Brothers band in 1996. At this time the Brothers began working with bassist / vocalist Tony Cauch, who has performed extensively with a number of distinguished artists.

Performing with some of Toronto’s most talented drummers (Jim Casson, Al Webster, David Peters) and sax players (Gene Hardy, Vern Dorge), the Welsman Brothers perform a danceable mix of Pop, Classic Rock, R&B and Reggae songs from the 60’s to present. The band performs at special events / corporate events, galas, benefits, private parties (available as a four- to seven-piece band)

Mike, I'm still hearing rave reviews about The Band. Not fair it should be all about Me. I spent 7 months planning the party and You get all the accolades!  Several people have emailed me and phone me saying what a fabulous time they had on Saturday and the best part was The Band. Thank you for making our night a smashing success. You will recall that I mentioned a few times how important it was for people to hear your music earlier in night than later and enjoy your tunes and not leave early out of boredom. Capturing their attention was achieved and they were definitely engaged in your upbeat vibe. Many thanks for making the evening a hit! … followed by  ‘Hi Mike:  you were sooo awesome at our recent school fundraiser in Waterloo that we want you back next year!’ - C. W.  (St. John’s Kilmarnock School - J.K. Auction Gala Chair 2005)

Michael, Thank you very much for all your help in making our event a great success. Everyone I spoke to afterwards raved about the band and how you just made the evening.  Again thanks! - B. P. (Choo Choo Gala committee 2006)
